Dwayne Johnson’s Red Notice: Trailer, Review, Plot

The action thriller has finally released on November 5, 2021 and available on all theatre screens worldwide. With big budget cast like Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot the movie has a lot of hopes high. While the movie is yet to release on Netflix which is set for 12th November, 2021 the reviews have though arrived.

Red Notice: Movie Review

Fans have delivered a mixed reaction to the movie with a few absolutely enjoying the comedy thriller but some were heavily disappointed. The movie has a total of 6.9 out of 10 ratings on IMDb which was earlier a solid 7. Red Notice’s Rotten Tomatoes’ ratings is surprisingly worse with a 44%. With a heavy cast and big names as such, the movie hasn’t been so up to the mark for a few fans. A type of movie like this is been seen before but this could be the best version of it.

Whereas some strongly claim this is the worst movie such megastars could deliver. One of the critics have finely claimed “The three megastars carry the entire film on their shoulders and end up buried alive under the weight of it all.” IGN has duly noted that “Red Notice starts with a lot of energetic potential but then devolves into a pastiche of other, better films, cribbing scenes that feel like they were lifted straight from a myriad of films from Indiana Jones to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.” It is safe to say that the reviews haven’t been so much in favor of the film.

Red Notice: Plot

The plot revolves around an Interpol agent (Dwayne Johnson) who’s assigned to capture the world’s most wanted art thief (Gal Gadot). The film is directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber while Seven Bucks Productions and Flynn Picture Company produced it.
