Comedy series “rodzinka.pl” it began to be broadcast on TVP2 in March 2011 and quickly became one of the station's biggest hits. The first seasons attracted several million viewers to TV screens. The series ended in 2020. There were 16 seasons of the production.
However, the manner in which “rodzinki.pl” was withdrawn from broadcast raised many objections. Fans demanded a fitting finale for their beloved series.
Its producer Dorota Gośmicka-Gacke repeatedly tried to persuade TVP authorities to produce further episodes. So far it has been unsuccessful, but there is a chance that her efforts will finally find a happy ending.
The Świat Gwiazd portal informed that work on scripts for the next episodes of “rodzinki.pl” is underway. Filming would begin in a few months, and apparently there have already been talks with the stars of the series about the possibility of returning to the set.
“The shooting is to start in January. Work on the script is currently underway. The stars who created this series have already been contacted and most of them have expressed their willingness to return to the set. Tomasz Karolak, Julia Wieniawa and Małgorzata Kożuchowska have certainly already received offers. Everything points to that after many years they will play such beloved characters again” – Świat Gwiazd heard from a well-informed person associated with the production.
Maciej Musiał, i.e. Tomek Boski, the eldest son of the characters played by Małgorzata Kożuchowska and Tomasz Karolak, was asked about returning to the set of “rodzinki.pl”.
“I heard something. I don't know how long it really is. Telewizja Polska is also at a specific moment now. Many things need to be clarified, but there are definitely some talks on this subject. Well, we'll see,” said the actor in an interview with Plejada.
“We've all lost our charm, I'm talking about us brothers (the others were played by Adam Zdrójkowski and Mateusz Pawłowski – editor's note). We're just old guys with mustaches and beards, so we'd have to find some interesting engine and idea for it. I know that there are interesting ideas for this,” assured Maciej Musiał.
“We will see in which direction Patryk Yoka will go. Certainly the most important thing is that if we do it, it will be with the old team, led creatively by Patryk Yoka, who is an outstanding creator. (…) When someone repeats this success, many times, it proves that he is truly unique. If it happens, it will only happen with him on board,” the artist concluded in an interview for Plejada.
