According to unofficial information, new episodes are being worked on “The Witcher” will last until October. Interestingly, after a short break, the creators will move on to the production of the yet unannounced fifth season of the series. The release date of the fourth one is not yet known.
In the fourth season, the role of the main character, Geralt of Rivia, will be taken over by Liam Hemsworth. In the first three seasons, the hero was played by Henry Cavill. The actor announced his decision to leave the role of the White Wolf in October 2022.
According to some recipients, Cavill, who is privately a great fan of the literary original created by Andrzej Sapkowski, came into conflict with the series’ scriptwriters. The source of this conflict was their overly cavalier approach to reproducing the source material, for which “The Witcher” is notoriously criticized.
