Series “The Agency”which was made for Showtime and Paramount+ will be a new version of the French spy series called “The Spy Bureau”. A few days ago, the first photos from the set were published, and now the trailer has been released.
“The Agency” will tell the story of a secret agent, Martian. He has been working undercover in recent years, but now he must leave everything and return to London. Unexpectedly, his old love reappears in his life. Both of them become embroiled in disputes related to intelligence agencies.
Viewers will see the biggest names in Hollywood on the screen. The star of “The Agency” is Michael Fassbender, who appears in a leading role in a series production for the first time in his career. His partners will include, among others: Richard Gere, Jeffrey Wright and Jodie Turner-Smith.
“I’ve never played a lead role on a show, so I approach it with great respect,” Fassbender told EW. “We have a tight schedule, you have to act quickly, get things done, but I really like it,” added the actor.
The executive producer is George Clooney, who was originally expected to direct several episodes.
With the release of the trailer, the premiere date of the series was announced. “The Agency” will debut on November 29 in the US on the Showtime platform. At the moment it is not known when it will be released in Poland.
