“A Working Man” is another joint project Statham and David Ayer. It premiered in 2024 “Beekeeper”which turned out to be an enjoyable action movie. The film was well received by viewers. It grossed over $150 million worldwide.
In the latest production, for which Ayer wrote the script together with Sylvester StalloneStatham plays a former member of the secret services who, in his old age, works for a construction company. When his boss’s daughter is kidnapped, he decides to find her. It quickly turns out that the case goes much deeper than the hero initially thought.
We will also see Michael Peña, David Harbor and Jason Flemyng on screen. Piotr Witkowski also starred in the film. The “Go Ahead, Brother” star played one of the bandits that Statham’s hero faces. In the trailer, we see how his confrontation with the man looking for the teenager ends.
Work on the film began in 2023. Stallone initially developed the idea with the television series format in mind. In 2024, the distribution rights were purchased by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Shooting lasted from April to May. The film will hit U.S. theaters on March 28, 2025.
