Pete Davidson confirms: There will be no second season of “Absolutely Nothing”

The first season of the series “Absolutely Nothing” has eight episodes. Their plot was based on real life Davidson — a popular comedian who is looking for his way and trying to cope with numerous traumas. Apart from him, the production also starred Edie Falco and Joe Pesci, who played the main character's mother and grandfather.

“Absolutely Nothing” appeared on Peacock in May 2023. In Poland, all episodes can be seen via the SkyShowtime streaming platform. Although the series was commissioned for a second season, Davidson stated that he would not undertake it.

“I always saw 'Absolutely Nothing' as a mirror of my life because it's so personal. It's about my problems and my family. My life has been in the media for a decade, so I wanted to tell my story in my own way. From all my work with 'Absolutely Nothing' nothing' I'm most proud of,” admitted the comedian.

“I am grateful to Lorne Michaels and Broadway Video, Peacock, Universal Television and the incredible cast and writing team who helped me create something honest, funny and from the heart. But I feel like that part of my life is over. Thank you all, who supported me then, I will always be grateful to you for that,” concluded Davidson.
