Madonna is preparing a free concert on the famous beach. He plans to break the record

Madonna started her “Celebration Tour” on October 14 last year. So far, she has played over 50 concerts out of eighty planned events. The tour will end on April 26, 2024. Initially, it was not known whether the star would be able to return to the stage at all – all because of a “serious bacterial infection” that attacked her in June last year. The singer was then admitted to the ICU, and it was difficult to say what the future awaited her.

Ultimately, the star managed to recover, and for several months now he has been fulfilling the dreams of his fans by performing all over the world. All good things come to an end, and the same goes for the 65-year-old singer’s tour. According to rumors, Madonna will play one more, additional and free concert – on Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro. This information was provided by the city’s tourism office, Visit Rio. It is scheduled to take place on May 4 and it is already estimated that 2 million people will come to Rio de Janeiro.

“Madonna is not slowing down and wants to celebrate her historic tour in a truly unique way,” says a person close to the artist in an interview with The Sun. “Her ‘The Celebration Tour’ has already been hailed as the pop tour of the decade. But this concert will be the icing on the cake,” says the insider.

The star has not yet confirmed these reports, but they also appeared in one of the most popular local newspapers – “O’Globo”. “Yes, it’s true: Madonna will come to Brazil for a big concert that will take place on May 4, it will probably be the biggest concert in the history of the entire 40-year career of the Queen of Pop,” we read in the daily.

Let us remind you that in the past they also gave free concerts on the famous beach (it is 4 km long). Rod Stewart (1994, approx. 3.5 million fans) or The Rolling Stones (2006; over 3 million participants).
