“LOL: Who Laughs Last” was one of Prime Video’s first productions. The first season was a huge success, so the decision to create another one is not surprising. Who will make you laugh and who will make you laugh? In the second part, we will see a galaxy of Polish stars: Zofia Zborowska, Jerzy Kryszak, Sonia Bohosiewicz, Blowek, Piotr Stramowski, Katarzyna Kwiatkowska, Maciej Musiałowski, Michał Wójcik, Paweł Chałupka, Adam Woronowicz – who was also the star of the first series.
What is the program about? “In the six-episode show, ten popular artists and comedians are guided by one mission: to make others laugh, but refrain from laughing yourself, because the winner is the one who laughs last! During the program participants prepare special gags that are supposed to make others laugh while they themselves have to remain serious. In the show, they will need not only comedy skills related to stand-up and improvisation, but also good physical preparation. LOL’s heroes are under constant surveillance by cameras that record all the smallest details. Cezary Pazura, who watches over the whole thing, from his control room is able to notice even the slightest facial movement of each participant,” reads the official description.
The winner is the one who can refrain from laughing the longest. The prize will be PLN 100,000. PLN, which will be donated to a selected charity. In the first series, the participants included: Adam Woronowicz, Agata Kulesza, Aleksandra Adamska, Bartosz Gajda, Cezary Jóźwik, Katarzyna Pakosińska, Michał Meyer, Michał Szpak, Robert Motyka and Wiolka Walaszczyk.
The Polish program is another version of the world-popular Japanese format “HITOSHI MATSUMOTO Presents Documentary”. Subsequent versions of the hit also gained recognition in countries such as Mexico, Australia, Germany, Italy, France, India, Spain, Canada, Brazil, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Ireland.
