You can apply throughout March Jarocin Youth Rhythms. You can win, among others: financial reward and performance at the legendary Jarocin festival. Performers presenting their own works can take part in the competition.
At the beginning of March, a special form was launched on the website under this link. Applications will be accepted until March 31.
Among all the participants, the jury – which includes Anna Rusowicz (vocalist), Oliwia Kopcik (Interia Muzyka), Michał Wiraszko (including the Muchy band) and the organizer’s representatives Sebastian Pluta and Tomasz Jankowski – will select 30 performers who will advance to the semi-finals. Among them will be the winner of the “Spichlerz is looking for young talents” review organized by the Spichlerz music club in Jarocin. Auditions for it will take place in March and April.
In the next stage, the audience will choose the first finalist from among all the semi-finalists via online voting. The remaining four will be selected again by the jury.
The final will take place on July 18 in the Jarocin amphitheater in the form of live auditions. The winner selected by the jury will receive a financial prize of PLN 10,000. PLN and will perform on the main stage of this year’s edition of Jarocin Festival.
The Jarocin competition was initiated in 1970 with the appearance of Wielkopolskie Rytmy Młodych. For several dozen years, he has created many musical stars, including: TSA, An axe, Hey, Curly Heads Whether WaluśKraksaCrisis. Last year’s winner was the formation Sad Smiles.
The event is organized by the Public Library of the City and Commune of Jarocin and the Regional Museum in Jarocin. The co-organizer is the Good Taste Production agency, and the partner is the Jarocin Commune.
