The latter sang three songs: “Sailors from the Sea of Tears”, “Wishes from the Whole Heart” and “I Sing Because I Have to”.
Bartosz Zieliński, in an interview with ShowNews, did not hide his regret towards his father, Andrzej Zieliński. The leader of the Skalds had previously said that he would continue the activities of this group, but he did not mention his son.
“It's interesting that dad didn't mention anything about his own children. I live in the United States, so dad often says that I'm not available. However, we live in times when people move around easily… Dad himself went to Poland for concerts throughout 90s, until he settled permanently in Krakow, so he certainly knows that it can be done. Even before my uncle died, I bought a ticket to Poland and was supposed to replace him at two concerts, because I found out that he was no longer able to do so. sing,” emphasized Bartosz Zieliński.
“Recently I found out that my dad hires vocalists to sing Skaldów's songs. This moved me because he has a son who has a voice similar to his dad and uncle. Besides, I know all these songs because I have been listening to them since I was a child, and now I play and I sing them in the United States. So I called my dad and suggested that we do a few concerts together. It's something that should have happened a long time ago,” notes Andrzej Zieliński's son, who hopes that he will be able to perform during his father's 80th birthday (it falls). October 5).
