In the past, Ikea started cooperation with Sonos and this is how the Symfonisk speaker series was created. The partnership has ended and will not continue. Now the Swedish giant’s offer includes two new series called KULGLASS and SOLSKYDD.

The Symfonisk series speakers were not cheap and that is probably why they were not a spectacular success. In the case of the KULGLASS and SOLSKYDD series, which were developed in cooperation with Tekla Evelina Severin (Teklan), it will be different. This time the prices are lower.
KULGLASS and SOLSKYDD loudspeakers are scheduled to go on sale in selected markets in December, and further expansion is planned for 2026. Prices are to be in the range of (approx. PLN 290) (approx. PLN 510). The amounts in Poland are not known yet, but they should be similar to those resulting from the conversion from dollars.
The new Ikea wireless speakers are very colorful
This time Ikea focuses on great diversity and with the KULGLASS and SOLSKYDD speakers it does not limit itself to standard color frames. On the contrary, because the new ones and the Swedes believe that they will fit into various interiors.

The KULGLASS series includes funny lamps with speakers inspired by the shape of ice cream. They will be available in green and red as well as brown in combination with pink. The SOLSKYDD line includes round speakers that can be placed on furniture or mounted on the wall. In this case, there are also different color options to choose from.
Ikea KULGLASS and SOLSKYDD wireless speakers are part of the brand’s new strategy, which aims to provide functional gadgets to homes at low prices. Recently, the Swedes announced new smart home accessories compatible with Matter, which are also very colorful and available at attractive prices.
