He won “The Voice of Poland”, now he talks honestly about the painful breakup. “Hard”

Janek Górka already during the first performance in “The Voice of Poland” he became known as a songwriter. He performed the song “I’ll Call You”, which he tweaked during the program’s finale, during the blind auditions. The song won the hearts of viewers and led Górka to triumph in the show.

“I remember” is another emotional song by the young artist. Janek – as he admits – writes straight from the heart, about what he experiences and feels. “He is not afraid to talk about feelings and painful experiences because he knows that screaming out the pain brings much-needed relief,” we read in the press announcement.

“It’s a song about breakup,” says Janek. “About how hard it is to come to terms with the fact that the person you planned a future with just suddenly leaves you,” he commented.

Jan Górka comes from Rudnik near Racibórz. He studies at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, and in his free time he sings, writes songs and… constructs devices such as stun guns, sensors and robots.

Interestingly, as a child he was not drawn to music – at one point he even made an agreement with his father, according to which he was to be withdrawn from music school if he improved his grades. After the death of his beloved mother, it was music that brought him solace. To cope with difficult emotions, he began writing songs. As he revealed in one of the interviews, he recorded over 400 of his own songs on a dictaphone.

IN “The Voice of Poland” Górka delighted the jury and the audience with his interpretations of famous numbers, such as “Mamo, you cried” sanah and Igor Herbut“Strong Man” Marcin Rozynek or the band’s “Counting Stars”.
