Cal Kestis in a TV series or movie? Cameron Monaghan breaks his silence

Star Wars: The Acolyte“, as the official description says, “is a crime thriller that will take viewers to a galaxy of dark secrets in the last days of the era of the Great Republic. The former Padawan will reunite with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes.”

In turn, action “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” is to take place after the events presented in the film “Return of the Jedi” from 1983. Its heroes will be four teenagers lost in a distant galaxy, trying to find their way home.

However, fans hope to see the hero of one of the best computer games in this film and series world taking place in the world of the Jedi and Sith – Cal Kestis, the hero of the games “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order” and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The action of both games developed by Respawn Entertainment studio takes place after the events of the third part of the saga, “Revenge of the Sith”. As one of the surviving Jedi, Cal goes on new adventures and discovers new corners of the Galaxy. For a long time, fans have been wondering whether there will be a place for this hero in the world of films and TV series – in a small or larger role.

The actor shared his observations on this subject Cameron Monaghan (i.e. the unforgettable Ian Clayton Gallagher from “Shameless” and Jerome Valeska from “Gotham”), who plays Kestis in both parts of the game. He would have no problem playing a hero in the series if “Cal’s story is developed to some extent.”

“It would have to be the right story,” Monaghan said at the Fan Expo convention. The Direct website quotes him as saying: “I wouldn’t want Cal to appear for a moment and just stand there. I want his presence to mean something and be valuable for him too. This must make sense. In the right context, of course, I would play him.”

Fans would certainly not be offended if Cal appeared in series productions or even if a film adaptation of his adventures was made, considering that both games are among the best-rated new ventures in the franchise. An experienced and suitable actor for this role is finally here.
