“Game of Thrones”: The creators reveal their favorite death from the series. Surprise?

“There were so many deaths of good people in 'The Game…',” Weiss began. “We finally got to kill Joffrey in season four and then Ramsay Bolton in season six. It was nice to get back to the good old fun of killing really bad guys.”

The producer added that the cruel death of Bolton, undoubtedly the worst character in the entire series, was a kind of restoration of balance in the universe.

Benioff added that you can't actually see Bolton, played by Iwan Rheon, die. “You can see something in the background, but we won't be able to celebrate his death,” he said. “But we see a smile Sophie Turner (who played Sansa Stark).”

“It was one take, we did it like seven times… She got it perfect the seventh and eighth time, and the effect she got then was epic. Sophie was so good. When we shot it, I felt like I could die happy.” – he joked at the end.

Ivan Rheon He played Ramsay Bolton in “Game of Thrones” for three years. In an interview for Radio Times, he admitted that after finishing working on the set of the HBO hit, he had problems finding a job. Apparently he couldn't count on roles other than the one in “Game of Thrones”.

“There's no other way to look at it. Because of the scale of the show, it did a lot for my career. But it also brought a lot of barriers. Suddenly you get offered a lot of roles where they want you to do the same thing. I thought, 'Can I play a nice guy? guy? Please?'” he joked then.
