Let us recall that the program “Must Be The Music. Only music” was broadcast in the years 2011-2016 – a total of 11 editions were shown. The show featured currently famous performers such as: Enej, Red Lips, Anna Karwan, LemON, Kasia Moś, Tomasz Kowalski, Oberschlesien, Mateusz Ziółko, Materia, Shata QS, Piękni i Młodzi, Sachiel, Kaśka Sochacka, Antek Smykiewicz, Besides, Marcin Szukałek and Hope.
In all 11 versions, participants were rated Kora, Elżbieta Zapendowska and Adam Sztaba. He accompanied them in the first six editions Wojciech “Łozo” Łozowskiwhom he replaced Piotr Rogucki (7-10.). He was a juror in the last edition Tymon Tymański.
There have been so far unconfirmed rumors that Polsat intends to reactivate its music program. It is therefore not surprising that speculations immediately began about who might appear on the jury – let us recall that Kora died in July 2018. Elżbieta Zapendowska, who was also a juror at Polsat in “Idol” and “How They Sing”.
“Music is my life, but I’m getting old, I’ve done my share, I’ve put myself at risk, my health isn’t good anymore… It’s time to rest,” she said in an interview with Plotek.
Zapendowska does not hide her vision problems, simply saying that she is “going blind”.
“There is no chance that I will regain my sight. I have already got used to it. There is no hope for me to see again, but I have come to terms with it. You have to come to terms with various adversities,” she said in one of the interviews.
Elżbieta Zapendowska gained popularity in 2002, when, together with… Robert Leszczyński, Kuba Wojewódzki and Jack Cygan became a juror in the first edition of the program “Idol”. Zapendowska was known for her honest, often very sharp, comments.
In the program, she assessed the participants until the last, old edition of the show, i.e. until 2005. Then she was a juror of programs “How They Sing” and “Must be the music”. In 2017, she sat on the jury of the reactivated “Idol”, next to Wojtek Łuszczykiewicz, Ewa Farna and Janusz Panasewicz.
