The action of the series is to take place before the events presented in the first part of the series – “Alien” and present the fate of Wendy (Sydney Chandler), which will discover an alien spaceship that crashed on Earth. The production is to be similar in tone to the first two films in the series.
The cast also includes: Timothy Olyphant (as an android who is supposed to act as Wendy’s mentor)Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin. At the helm of the production, of course, Noah Hawley and Ridley Scott.
The series will hit the screens some time after the premiere of this year’s holiday hit, the new film installment of the saga entitled “Alien: Romulus”. Interestingly, this part has “series” connections, which fans discovered and informed the director of the production, Fede Alvarez. It turns out that when creating one of the heroines, the creator was heavily inspired by… a character from the game “The Last of Us”.
As Fede Alvarez revealed, the character of Kay (Isabella Merced) was inspired by Dina from the game “The Last of Us 2”. But that’s not all. On Friday on X Alvarez also drew attention to an incredible coincidence.
“Fun fact: I was playing ‘The Last of Us 2’ when I was writing the script ‘Alien: Romulus’. The pregnant Dina thread inspired me to write that Kay is also pregnant. For the role of Kay I chose Isabella Mercedand a year later it turned out, that she will play Dina in the HBO series… “The true story.”
