Open-air screening of the film “Shrek” in Warsaw. A tribute to Jerzy Stuhr

On Thursday, August 29, an outdoor screening of the film ” will take place in Warsaw.Shrek“, in the Polish dubbing version the voice was provided by Jerzy Stuhr. The legendary actor played the role of Donkey in all parts of the animation and was forever remembered by viewers.

The screening will take place at 9:00 PM at the National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute in Warsaw. Admission is free. You had to register for the screening in advance. Although the limit of seats has already been reached, the organizers have provided additional seats for people who have not registered. Information provided by Filmweb.

Jerzy Stuhr died on July 9 at the age of 77. He was buried in the family tomb at the Rakowicki Cemetery in Krakow. The actor, who also worked as a director and screenwriter, had two heart attacks and in recent years had also been battling laryngeal cancer.

Shrek fans have been waiting for years for news about a new film from the world of the green ogre, and the latest news comes the same day we learned about the departure of Jerzy Stuhr, who played the iconic character of Donkey. Many of us can’t imagine anyone else in the role.
