On that fateful day, Chodakowski will discover in the morning that his beloved has not slept all night, to sew a dress for Maja for a costume ball at the community center. However, Szymek (Stanisław Szczypiński) will be so dissatisfied with the outfit that Iza and Radek bought him that eventually – also with Kama's help – he will disguise himself as a detective.
– Did you sew such a beauty in one night?! (…) Have I already told you that you are amazing? – the detective will shower Kama with compliments.
– You mentioned something once… – the former stripper will answer jokingly, suppressing a yawn.
Grandma Aleksandra (Małgorzata Pieczyńska) will take the children to the ball. Unfortunately, an accident occurs during the game: Maja falls down the stairs and ends up in the hospital. When the panicked Chodakowska is unable to reach Marcin, she will call Kama for help.
– Maybe if I hadn't talked to my friend and looked after the child, nothing would have happened – Aleksandra starts blaming herself.
– It's nobody's fault. Accidents just happen. And besides, there were caregivers with the children, right? – Kama will comfort her while they wait for the results of the CT scan.
Mai's doctor will be sure that Kama is her mother and he will give her the diagnosis:
– Brain CT scan did not show anything disturbing, and since there was no loss of consciousness, we can rule out concussion. However, I would like my daughter to stay in the ward as a preventive measure.
– I understand, doctor… – Kama, stunned, won't correct the mistake.
– He will remain under observation, just in case, but don't worry, there is no indication that we have any reason to worry – the doctor will inform.
Kama and Aleksandra will breathe a sigh of relief.
– Maja is staying for observation until tomorrow, but only just in case, because everything is fine, don't worry. Nothing happened to her. Everything is really fine – Detective Chodakowski will hear when he finally manages to reach the hospital.
Concerned, Marcin will look at Maja and then, without saying a word, hug Kama tightly and with great tenderness.
