Macaulay Culkin he was considered one of the most talented child actors in history. His greatest success and international recognition came with the Christmas series, in which he played the role of Kevin McCallister. Even though 35 years have passed since its premiere, many people still cannot imagine Christmas without the traditional viewing of the movie “Home Alone”. Chris Columbus’ production steals the hearts of subsequent generations and continues to attract whole families to the screens to this day.
Kevin McCallister accompanies families around the world every Christmas. It’s no wonder fans keep asking Macaulay Culkin about his possible return to the role. It was no different during one of the events during the US tour “A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin”, organized on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of “Home Alone”.
Culkin admitted he “wouldn’t be totally against it,” but he stressed: “It would have to be something really appropriate.” He even already has an idea for the plot of the sequel.
“I’m a widower or a divorcee. I’m raising a child. I work very hard and I don’t pay enough attention to him, so the child gets a little angry at me and then closes the door in my face,” Variety quotes the actor. Kevin’s son would set traps for him.
“Home Alone” will traditionally be broadcast on TV during the upcoming holidays. Polsat will show the film on Christmas Eve, December 24, at 20:00.
