“M is for love” can be watched on TVP 2 since 2000. Tone of the longest-running series on Polish television – only surpassed by it “Clan” and “For better or for worse”. Over the years, it has gained enormous popularity, and viewers still experience the fate of the several-generation Mostowiak family.
The series already has cult status, and many scenes and events are particularly memorable for fans. One of the symbols without which production would not be the same is family house in Grabin. Viewers may be surprised to learn that he exists in real life. However, its interior is still a mystery.
Unfortunately, the series’ Grabina is a non-existent town. However, the Mostowiak family home really exists. It is located in the village of Piaski, in the Piaseczno district, approx. 40 minutes from Warsaw. The producers decided that only outdoor scenes would be recorded there. The property is not protected in any way, a the curious can go there to see it with their own eyes.
Unfortunately, the house in real life is not as impressive as in the series. The creators of the YouTube channel found out about this “We travel and eat”. They went to the property and showed it off on their channel. There is a small road leading to it and it is in quite poor condition. The house is surrounded by garages and other buildings. There was a lot of equipment around him that looked like it had been left on a construction site. The back of the house didn’t look too picturesque either. In reality, the area unfortunately does not make as much of an impression as on the small screen. It can be suspected that the scenes in the picturesque setting of Lucjan and his wife’s beloved orchard took place in a different location, as the surroundings of the house are not impressive.
Even though the house from the series Grabina exists, its interior still remains a mystery. The rooms we may associate are actually located in the hall. One of the actors proved this. In a story on his Instagram profile, Marcin Mroczek showed an atmospheric kitchen that is only theoretically located at home. In fact, the shooting in Grabino took place in the hall and in recording studios. The walls of the house were only a model. The photos were taken in Orzeszyn near Piaseczno. A few years ago, the production was supposed to move to a different location, so there may have been changes in the appearance of some rooms.
