In the 15th edition “I have a talent” it's time for the semi-finals. The viewers have a decisive role in this stage of the program by choosing their favorite performances with their votes. The performer who receives the most votes from viewers advances to the final.
The second finalist from among the next two selected by the voters is chosen by the program's jurors – Agnieszka Chylińska, Julia Wieniawa and Marcin Prokop. The performer who took third place fights for a wild card, which also grants participation in the final.
One of the participants in the first semi-final was an 8-year-old guitarist Kuba Olejnik. And although he did not make it to the finals, his performance was excellently received by the “Got Talent” jurors.
“I would love to adopt you, to pay you pocket money, and for us to play like this every day. You are the previously unknown child of a Smurf and Kerry King from Slayer, who suddenly appears on the stage, is one meter twenty tall, and puts entire hordes to shame with his power.” Beelzebub's followers fighting on this stage. “You are a born frontman, what kind of contact do you have with the audience, how do you feel the stage? You already have the band, now it's time to go on tour,” she commented Julia Wieniawa.
“You have to work on your facial expression, you have to be more angry. When you are on stage, you just pretend that you have all the problems in the world and everyone believes you. And it was brilliant,” she added Chylińska.
“But look what the situation is like. It's Saturday evening, people are drinking tea, Mrs. Bożena and Mr. Janusz. And suddenly such evil appears. What is happening in Polish homes now? I'm very sorry for the faults,” he added. Prokop.
“Kuba Olejnik he is 8 years old and his musical talent was discovered 4 years ago by his parents. As a 3-year-old, he imitated Ed Sheeran on a toy acoustic guitar, and a year later he learned to play the ukulele. Light sounds stopped fascinating him quite quickly – then it was time for an electric guitar,” we read on the website “I have a talent”.
Currently, Kuba's guitar performances can be seen on his Instagram. There, among others you can see the song playing Children of Bodom on the Krakow market square.
During the casting for “Got Talent” he showed how spectacular he was at playing the guitar. The young musician chose a song to perform in front of the jury “Breaking The Law” by Judas Priest. The participant received a standing ovation and, above all, he was delighted Marcin Prokop.
“There was everything you needed. There was rock and roll enchanted in this little body. And those facial expressions, those sparkles, devils in the eyes and the tossing of the not-so-long mane. You have everything. I feel that one day you will cause a real stir in the women's dorms.” – said Prokop.
“Can I get your autograph while you're not a big star yet, because you'll be one soon?” she asked Julia Wieniawa.
