This is the second time I have been invited to the presentation of new products Netflix. Last year, during the event, the organizers allowed guests to create their own Witcher elixir, enjoy champagne straight from the Bridgerton manor and, above all, get to know the offer of hot new products that have debuted on the platform in recent months.
It's no secret that Netflix focuses on Polish productions. Year by year, the quality (and viewership) of series increases (“Feedback”, “Rojst“), unfortunately the same cannot be said about films, but we are on the right track (“Quack”).
I can't say much about the details of TV series and film productions, but right after the presentation, Netflix revealed what titles we can expect in the coming months. By the end of the year, viewers will see as many as nine Polish original Netflix productions.
Actors who starred in the streaming giant's production for the first time will appear on the small screen. They were among them Olaf LubaszenkoJoanna Trzepiecińska, Katarzyna Figura, Jan Peszek, Maciej Stuhr, Eryk Kulm jr., Piotr Adamczyk, Mateusz Kościukiewicz, Barbara Wypych, Krzysztof Tyniec, Tomasz Tyndyk, and Jakub Wesołowski.
There will also be titles with Polish Netflix stars: Zofia Jastrzębska (“Infamia”), Ada Chlebicka (the “Love Squared” series), Piotr Witkowski (“Absolute Debutants”), Małgorzata Potocka, Anna Romantowska, Magdalena Kuta, Wojciech Zieliński (” The Green Glove Gang. The new films and series will also feature Magdalena Boczarska, Wiktoria Gorodeckaja (“Keep Calm”), Magdalena Popławska (“Glitter”), Maja Ostaszewska (“Broad Peak”), Jędrzej Hycnar (“The Girl and the Cosmonaut”), Mateusz Król (” Once upon a time on the national premiere) and Konrad Eleryk (“Rojst Millenium”).

The first Polish title officially announced by Netflix is “Project UFO” with Mateusz Kościukiewicz, Maja Ostaszewska and Piotr Adamczyk in the main roles.
“The series 'Project UFO' will soon be available on Netflix. After an alleged UFO landing in Truskasy in Warmia, a number of interconnected people try to determine the origin of alien creatures. In the meantime, they discover the truth about themselves and the reality surrounding them,” we read in Netflix's post on social media .
A short video appeared on YouTube, where Piotr Adamczyk announces the series. “Imagine that you wake up, turn on the TV, and there is information everywhere that a UFO has appeared in Poland. Well, would you believe it?” – says.
“Project UFO” is a series I'm waiting for! The first promotional materials announce a crazy story, and the actors we will see on the screen will certainly not disappoint.
Just like last year, the event organizers prepared thematic walls. One of them was the set design announcing the latest “Beverly Hills Cop”. The guests could try their hand at the keyboard and play the iconic theme song – “Axel F”, which still sticks with me to this day. There were also extras on site, styled as the titular cops, who welcomed participants from the very entrance.
In the fourth part of “Beverly Hills Cop”, Eddie Murphy returns as Axel Foley. The director is Mark Molloy, who in 2022 replaced the creators of “Bad Boys for Life”, Adil El Arbia and Bilall Fallah. Jerry Bruckheimer, responsible for the original film, serves as producer.
Apart from Eddie Murphy, we will see: Taylour Paige, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kevin Bacon. The original cast of the film will also return: Judge Reinhold, Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot.
One would like to say: please bring the new “Squid Game”! The creators are testing fans' patience – after all, the first season was released in 2021! When exactly can we expect the new one? This is not known yet. However, there was a wall at the Netflix event for this series as well. Extras dressed as guards prepared a special choreography, which they presented when one of the participants wanted to record a video.
During the event, you could teleport to Paris for a moment – the fourth season of “Emily in Paris” is coming! If any of the guests preferred a slightly more classic atmosphere – The Bridgertons welcomed you into their court with open arms. The premiere of the new season is just around the corner – it will debut on the platform on May 16.
There were thematic snacks, signature drinks and champagne. As I mentioned, we had the opportunity to get acquainted with the new Netflix offer in more detail during the presentation, but I cannot reveal its details. Looking at the list of Polish novelties, we can definitely say that there is something to wait for!
