Since the release of “Reacher” (adapted from Lee Child’s novel), Alan Ritchson has been getting a lot of attention, and he’s not resting on his laurels. In December last year, he premiered had a Christmas movie, Ordinary Angels, in which he starred opposite Hilary Swank. The plot of the production was based on true events – it presented the fate of a hairdresser who gathered the community of a small town to help a father save the life of his seriously ill daughter. Unfortunately, “Ordinary Angels” did not premiere in Poland. The next project was in the film directed by Guy Ritchie “Ministry of Dangerous Bastards”.
We are also learning more and more about the third series of “Reacher”. The first season of “Reacher” was based on Child’s 1997 debut novel “Dead Floor”. The second season corresponded to the book “Killer Elite”, also known as “Bad Luck and Trouble” (2007). The third installment of the series is to be based on the 2003 novel “The Power of Persuasion”. Reacher’s opponent in the new episodes will be Paul Masserella, played by Olivier Ritchers.
Alan Ritchson will soon start working on a comedy and Christmas movie, “The Man With The Bag,” in which he will star alongside action movie legend Arnold Schwarzenegger. The actor is probably a bit bored, though, because he has already recorded another project. This time, it will be a science fiction film for Netflix.
In the production, titled “War Machine,” as reported by Deadline, Ritchson will play a commando who, along with other soldiers, undergoes a difficult training to join an elite unit. However, on their final day, the officers will have to face a threat they did not expect. Filming is set to begin this week in Australia, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
“War Machine” also stars Dennis Quaid (“Reagan”), Stephan James (“The Piano Lesson”), Jai Courtney and Esai Morales (“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning”).
