Volbeat – from parting with the guitarist Robem Caggiano in 2023 – they currently create Michael Poulsen (vocal, guitar), Jon Larsen (drums) i Kaspar Boye Larsen (bass). The guitarist supports them at concerts and in the studio Flemming C. Lundwhich accompanies Poulsen in his death metal project Asinhell.
On June 6, the ninth studio album of the Danes will appear, entitled “God of Angels Trust”. We just got to know the first single “By a monster’s hand”. The music video presents Volbeat in their most natural environment – on the stage, among the crowd of fans.

“In the past I spent a lot of time composing, analyzing every detail before completing the songs. This time I wanted to create a Volbeat album without an exaggerated analysis. I told myself: ‘There are no rules. I can do whatever I want exciting, “says Michael Poulsen.
In September 2024, Volbeat entered the studio, once again working with a longtime producer Jacob Hansen. Poulsen wanted the recordings to run quickly and intuitively, which is why the band simply connected to the amplifiers and started playing. All material was recorded live in the studio, and the musicians tried to perform as little as possible to every song. After 13 days, the whole was ready.
Volbeat returns to Poland. Where will the concert take place?
“In a sense, we have come to a full circle. Now I feel like we were experiencing a revival. I don’t feel that this is our ninth studio album, I feel as if we were recording our first album again. And this is truly refreshing” – emphasizes the leader of Volbeat.
Within the route “Greatest of All Tours Worldwide” The group will also visit Poland again. The concert organized by Live Nation Polska will take place on October 13 at the Cos Torwar hall in Warsaw.
