“The Undertow” is based on the 2019 Norwegian series “Twin”. The main role was played by the famous star “Game of Thrones” Kristofer Hivju. Dornan will play the role of twin brothers – Adam and Lee. The cast also included: Mackenzie DavisIain De Caestecker and Gary Lewis.
The plot will focus on Nicola (Davis), who will be stuck in a loveless marriage with Adam (Dornan). The situation will be complicated by the return of Lee, her husband’s twin brother, who will recall their tragic past. The unexpected course of events will force the woman to fight for the safety of her children, while the relationship between her and her brother-in-law will once again be full of secrets and lies.
The series will begin filming this year in Scotland and Iceland. Jeremy Lovering will be behind the camera, and the script was written by Sarah Dollard, Hanna Jameson, Scout Cripps and Kam Odedra.
Dornan’s filmography ends with the series “The Tourist”, the second season of which debuted in January 2024.
