The fourth season of “The Umbrella Academy” will debut on August 8, 2024 and will consist of six episodes.
The series is based on the comic book by Gerald Way. The plot focuses on six siblings who reconnect after the death of their billionaire father. He prepared them for the mission to save the world. Together they try to unravel the mystery of their parent’s departure and prevent the apocalypse.
The production appeared in the streaming giant’s catalog in 2019 and immediately convinced viewers. Subsequent seasons recorded increasingly better viewership results. The third one, released in 2022, was viewed for over 124.5 million hours and remained on the website’s top 10 list for five weeks.
The showrunner of the fourth season of the series will be Steve Blackman, who has held this position since the beginning of production.
Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Aidan Gallagher, Robert Sheehan, David Castañeda, Colin Feore, Justin H. Min and Ritu Arya will return to star. Additionally, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally and David Cross joined the cast.
