James McCartney is one of Paul McCartney's five children, as well as his only biological son. The singer and musician debuted in 2010 with a series of EPs, and his first longplay, “Me”was released in 2013.

In February this year, the first song in almost eight years, “Beautiful”, was released. On April 12, the song “Primrose Hill”, which had been announced for several days, was released. The singer's fans point out that among the creators, next to McCartney's name, there is also the name of the co-creator – Sean Ono Lennon!
This means that both musicians – like their fathers many years ago – decided to cooperate as Lennon/McCartney. “With the release of this track I feel like we're really starting to take off and I'm so excited to continue sharing music with you,” James McCartney wrote online.

In the years 1962-1969, the musicians wrote approximately 180 songs, which constituted the majority of the Beatles' compositions. Even though they signed the songs together, both Lennon and McCartney were independent composers and lyricists of individual songs.
When James McCartney releases his own songs, he often encounters a lot of criticism from listeners. Some people maliciously write that he “gave his talents to his mother” or that he “needs a good songwriter”. McCartney makes no secret of the fact that he does not want to be known as the son of a famous father.

The final straw was the question about the alleged pressure that being the son of a rock legend put on him. “Again, I don't want to talk about my father. I'm not asking about your dad, if you know what I mean? It may seem strange. I understand your point, but I say no” – he tried to distance himself from the question once again . Three minutes into the interview, the interviewer said, “Unfortunately, James blew it,” and the interview was interrupted.
Even though fans have been demanding the creation of a “Beatles baby band” for years, James McCartney and Zak Starkey (son of Ringo Starr; drummer of Oasis and The Who), they don't even want to hear about such an idea. Fans of The Beatles see them by their side Sean Ono Lennon, Julian Lennon and Dhani Harrison.
