Main character “The Bear” is Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young chef from the world of gourmet restaurants who, after the painful passing of one of his family members, returns to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich bar – The Original Beef of Chicagoland. Carmy faces a reality so different from what he is used to, and tries to find his way in running a small business, which is not made easier by his innate stubbornness, reluctant kitchen staff and tense family relations.
Two seasons have been created so far. The third one will be released in June this year. However, it is not known when exactly it will debut on the Polish platform Disney+.
The latest photos from the set of the third season of “The Bear” greatly disturbed fans. Photographs were published on the X platform in which the main characters can be seen near the church. Everyone is dressed in black.
“Back in action, the cast of ‘The Bear’ including Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiriwas spotted filming season three in Chicago,” the description reads.
The photos also show, among others: Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Matty Matheson and Lionel Boyce. Commenters almost immediately began to speculate that the crew had filmed a funeral scene. Just Jared suspects that Marcus’ (Lionel Boyce) mother died because she was seriously ill in the second season.
One of the winners of this year’s Emmy Awards was “The Bear”. Statuette for best comedy series Matty Matheson, a chef and internet celebrity who plays maintenance man Neil Fak, answered on behalf of the team. The visibly moved man was thanking the restaurateurs and everyone around him when suddenly Ebon Moss-Bachrach (previously awarded for his supporting role in this series) approached him and gave him a long kiss on the lips. This was met with surprise from those gathered on stage and huge applause from the audience.
When he finished, Matheson, overcome with emotion, continued his speech as if nothing had happened. “It’s hard work. I didn’t see the sun from early morning for three days. (…) I’ve never experienced anything like that. I’ve never played,” he said.
This is not the only achievement of the latest season of “The Bear”. The series was also awarded three Golden Globes this year.
