The hero of the series “Suits: LA” will be former federal prosecutor from New York, Ted Black (Stephen Amell)who is a co-owner a new law firm dealing with matters in the entertainment industry. He finds himself in a difficult situation, and in order to survive, he must take on a role he has despised throughout his career. In addition, his colleagues will constantly put him to the test.
“His company is at crisis point, and to survive, he must take on a role he has scorned his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a group of distinguished colleagues who test their loyalty to both him and each other while they can’t help but connect their lives personal and professional. All this happens as the events of the past slowly come to light and we learn why Ted left everything and everyone he loved,” NBC reports.
The writer and executive producer of the new project is the creator of “In suits“, Aaron Korsh. The series will be directed by Victoria Mahoney (“Lovecraft Country”, “The Morning Show”).
Stephen Amell, an actor known for the main role of the series “Arrow”, revealed in an interview with Deadline that… he did not watch “Suits”! In the spin-off of the big hit, he will play the main character.
” (…) I’ll be a little nervous until we get on set and start shooting, which will be in about 27 days. Doesn’t matter who’s counting? No, I’m very excited and I really like this series. I haven’t seen the original and I’m just getting to know him (…)” – said the actor.
In addition to Amell, we will see actors such as Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis and Bryan Greenberg.
