The 1984 film starred Sting, who kept a rather peculiar piece of clothing as a souvenir from the set that he wanted to lend to Austin Butler.

Both artists played the same character. They played Feyd-Rauth, the heir to Baron Vladimir Harkonnen.

The singer did not impose himself on the actor and did not give him advice, but… he was ready to share with him a rather peculiar souvenir that he kept from the set. It’s about futuristic men’s briefs with characteristic wings, which he wore in one of the scenes.
On “The Tonight Show,” Austin Butler revealed that Sting’s unusual declaration was made during their meeting at the New York premiere of the second part of “Dune.”

“It was quite surreal. I was stunned by the meeting. Sting is an extremely charming man. I had the opportunity to talk to him and asked him about his memories from the time he starred in a David Lynch movie. He replied that he still had some of his movie wardrobe. He said, that he would let me wear it if I wanted,” Butler explained, a little embarrassed.

The actor did not reveal whether he finally accepted Sting’s proposal.

“Dune: Part Two” follows Paul Atreides’ impressive journey as he forges an alliance with Chani and the Fremen. At the same time, he goes on the warpath, burning with the desire for revenge on the conspirators who led to the downfall of his family. Faced with a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, Paul wants to prevent a tragic future that only he can predict.

In the sequel to “Dune” the following people return to their roles: Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem. The new faces include: Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walker and Léa Seydoux.
