In the case of the Hollywood remake, an American family is invited to an idyllic country estate for the weekend by a charming British family they had previously met on vacation. What begins as a dream vacation slowly turns into a nightmare.
Main role in “Speak no evil” fell to the share James McAvoy. This is his next collaboration with the Blumhouse studio, for which he previously appeared in films “Split” and “Glass”. Both productions earned half a billion dollars in cinemas around the world.
In addition to the Briton, who turned 45 on April 19, the film also stars Mackenzie Davis, Aisling Franciosi and Scoot McNairy.
The director and scriptwriter of the remake is JamesWatkins (“The Woman in Black”). The film will hit theaters on September 13.
