“Sing Sing”from the album of the same title released in 1976, is one of the biggest hits Maryla Rodowicz, known to subsequent generations of Poles. The author of the music is Jacek Mikułathe words came out of the pen Agnieszka Osiecka.

New version of “Sing-Sing” (check!) with Mróz's participation, is an announcement of Maryla Rodowicz's new project, to which she invited the most important contemporary stars of the Polish stage. “The invitation to the new album of Maryla Rodowicz, an icon of Polish music, is one of those that I cannot refuse and is extremely special to me,” he admits. Frost.

The music video “Sing-Sing”, for which he is responsible, has now been released online Michał Sierakowski. The director collaborated with, among others, Kayah, Baranovski or a duet Crucian/Rogucki.

“When creating the music video for 'Sing-Sing', I was inspired primarily by the wonderful animations of the opening credits of films from James Bond. I didn't want to show a story or a short plot, but a series of pictures and vignettes that would create a feisty atmosphere, show Sing-Sing as a gangster, and create a dramatic atmosphere. Visually, this clip is a homage to the animation and graphics of the 1970s and 1980s: I wanted the still frames from the film to look like vinyl covers from that time. That is, collages with imperfectly cut figures, strong colors and bombastic, hippie typography,” says Michał Sierakowski.

“Working on the set with Mróz and Maryla was pure pleasure. Łukasz immersed himself in his role so well that at times I had the impression that a young man was standing in front of the camera. Zbyszek Cybulski. “I am extremely happy that the queen of Polish music trusted me: she approached my ideas with incredible openness and energy and found herself perfectly in the role of femme fatale, the dramatic narrator of the clip,” adds the director.

The arrangement and production of “Sing-Sing” was supervised not only by Mrózu himself, but also by his regular collaborator – DrySkullalso known for his work with Dawid Podsiadło Whether Falcon.
