“Setup” in “Got Talent”? Marcin Prokop comments on the results of the final

In the 15th edition of the program “I have a talent” Near Agnieszka Chylińska assessed the participants' performances Julia Wieniawa and Marcin Prokop (currently hosting the show). However, they took over the role of presenters Agnieszka Woźniak-Starak and Jan Pirowski from Radio Eska.

In the finals, the following people competed for the main prize: Teo Tomczuk, Alicja Andrukajtis and her dog Muza, Tymoteusz Sobczyk, Bartek Wasilewski, Nina Stec, Michał Skubida, Olivia Hausner, Filip Drogos, Teddy's Army and Oliwia Miś.

The top three were Bartek Wasilewski, Alicja Andrukajtis i Muza and Filip Drogos. By the decision of the viewers, the winner and the winner of 300,000 PLN was awarded to 14-year-old rapper Bartek Wasilewski (check!), who owed their advancement to the semi-finals to the Golden Button from Agnieszka Chylińska. The next places were taken by Filip Drogos and Alicja Andrukajtis and Muza.

Social media was in a frenzy after the final. There were many comments in the comments suggesting that Bartek's win was a “set-up”.

“There were much better performances”, “The boy plays on emotions… If he had sung about something else, he wouldn't have won”, “Another time when a sob story and a portion of emotions were appreciated instead of hard work, sacrifices and dedication to honing your talent ” – you could read.

In an interview with Pudelek, Marcin Prokop responded to these allegations. He emphasized that the voting process was supervised by an “independent law firm.”

“Bartek received twice as many votes from viewers as the next participant, so those who criticize him are actually attacking the will of thousands of people. Suggestions that the vote is 'rigged' are nonsense,” says the presenter.

Prokop appealed not to fuel hate against the teenager, because this “modest and talented kid did not deserve anything.”

“Let's let him enjoy his success, keep our fingers crossed for him and remember that 'Got Talent' is, above all, fun, entertainment, a program about extraordinary skills, but also about emotions and moving stories, not an Olympic sport where the decisions are based on some standardized , rigorous criteria,” the juror emphasized.

It was he who charmed Agnieszka Chylińska during the casting, who pressed the Golden Button, which immediately advanced him to the semi-finals. A first-grade student with a driver-mechanic profile at a vocational school, his adventure with music began at the age of 7, when he started writing his first lyrics and adding beats to them. When he was 9 years old, his older friends noticed him and invited him to record a song in a studio in Płock.

As a teenager, he went with his mother to one of the outdoor events in Płock, where he rapped for the audience for the first time. In 2022, he was invited – as the youngest rapper in Poland – to support Pezet and Palucha at a concert at the Kino club in Płock.

“Bartek Wasilewski he is not only a talented artist, but also a boy with passion and determination. His adventure with music began at a very young age, and each step on his musical path turned out to be an important milestone for him,” we read on the TVN website.
