“Anora” tells the story of Ania, a dancer working in New York (Mike Madison), who, on the spur of the moment, marries the oligarch’s son. When the boy’s parents find out about the wedding, they decide to annul it as soon as possible. However, she does not intend to give up the wealth that has suddenly become part of her life.

“Anora” is one of the favorites in this year’s awards season. The film debuted at the Cannes festival, where it was awarded the Palme d’Or.
