Richie Kotzen with a solo album. “I’m very excited”
“My approach to the ‘Nomad’ album was to imagine releasing it only on vinyl. What songs would fit together in that format and how would I structure side A relative to side B and so on and so forth. In a sense, the song ‘ Nomad’ became closer to the A-side, and ‘Nihilist’ side B, because both compositions were created around the same time and in my opinion they were perfect companions,” explains Richie Kotzen.
“I’m very excited that I will finally be able to share all these compositions in their full version. I hope that people will feel this music as much as I do,” adds the musician, whose achievements include performing in bands Poison (1991-1993), Mr. Big (1999-2002), supergroup The Winery Dogs (with bassist Billy Sheehan With Mr. Big and drummer Mike Portnoy With Dream Theater) and a duet Smith/Kotzenwhich he created with Adrian Smithguitarist Iron Maiden.
