Ralph Kaminski opens the next chapter in his career and is getting ready to release his fifth studio album. At the end of September, the artist already published the first single from the upcoming album – a song “Mountain”filled with sadness, melancholy and longing. The composition surprised, among others, references to traditional folk music, because in the recordings the singer was accompanied by a highland choir (composed of: Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka, Bartłomiej Kudasik and Wojciech Topa from the team Zakopower).
Together with the song “Góra”, an atmospheric, black and white clip was released, directed by Ralph himself. The singer was also the author of the script and one of the actors. Special guests were invited to the music video, including: Anna Dymna or dancer Mikołaj Czyżowski.
Ralph Kaminski confessed what he was afraid of! New song now available
Less than a month after the last premiere, the singer presents another song that announces his latest release. He put the song into the hands of the listeners “Don’t be afraid to spare!” – brighter, bolder and definitely more dancing.
In the text of the new issue, Ralph Kaminski admits that although his mother always persuaded him not to be afraid in advance, it did not help him much. The artist revealed that he is constantly afraid of many things – closeness, loneliness, life. The words are filled with sentiment and regret, but the melody gives everything a completely different sound. Energetic, positive music, taken straight from cult musicals, turns a sad story into a hopeful, sunny parable. The entire orchestra took part in the recordings – there are sounds of guitars, drums and piano, but also instruments such as French horn, violins, violas and cellos.
Ralph Kaminski and his dancing video for “Don’t be afraid!”
The author of both the music and the lyrics of the song is Kaminski. The artist also directed a music video, which was released along with the song “Don’t be afraid to spare!”. The production tells a dancing story of small-town characters (probably residents of Jasło), and the main roles – apart from the performer himself – included: dancer with a nickname Sweetie in the role of Rocket Woman, actress Dominika Kachlik as Girl from the Past, musical actor Rafał Derkacz in the role of Żulek, and even Ralph’s mother, Dorota Kamińska-Kowalik in the role of Devotka.
He created unique choreography for the video Adam Beta. “It’s a music video that pulsates with emotions and reminds us that change is the only constant thing – and dancing can be the most beautiful form of courage,” we read in the press release.
