“Pooh: Blood and Honey 3” will be made. Winnie the Pooh will be joined by Rabbit and Kanga

“Pooh: Blood and Honey” is a horror film that began development with characters created by A. A. Milne’and entered the public domain. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet were presented as two degenerates who targeted the adult Christopher Robin and a group of students visiting the Hundred Acre Wood.

Film directed by Rhys Frake’a-Waterfield it cost only $50,000. It hit American theaters in January 2023. It grossed over five million and was met with extremely negative reviews. It was also awarded five Golden Raspberries: for the worst production of the year, director, screenplay, screen duet and prequel, sequel or remake.

However, the financial success meant that the film “Pooh: Blood and Honey” had a sequel, which was released in American cinemas on March 26. The reviews are average (which is a huge leap in quality compared to the first part). Financial results are not yet known. However, this did not prevent the creators from announcing further remakes of well-known fairy tales.

Already in November 2022, “Bambi: The Reckoning” and “Peter Pan” were announced’s Neverland Nightmare”. In turn, in January 2024, “Pinocchio: Unstrung” was added. On March 18, it was confirmed that all macabre versions of fairy tale characters will meet in the movie “Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble”. Two days after the premiere “Blood and Honey 2” it was revealed that the psychopathic Pooh would return to hunt Christopher Robin for the third time.

It is known that the film will have an even larger budget than the previous parts. It will also feature characters that we haven't seen in previous horror installments – including Rabbit, Kanga and Roo. We don't know the release date yet. In turn, “Poohniverse”, in which Winnie the Pooh will be joined by, among others, Tinker Bell, Bambi, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, the Mad Hatter and Sleeping Beauty, will hit cinemas in 2025.
