“Paweł from Ursynów” is an intimate portrait of the creator in 2025, full of archival materials, who changes his style with each album. The camera follows the process of creating “Popular Music” – from the first sketches, through production and text choices, to the coherent visual language of the album. The film answers questions that fans have been asking for years: where do Pezet’s inspirations come from and how has his sound evolved? What does “commercial music” mean to him? Does the artist feel mainstream and how does he reconcile artistic numbers with radio hits?
“2025 is a very important moment in my career. After 25 years on stage, I am releasing my seventh solo album. Never in my life would I have thought that I would be in such a place, that I would sit as a juror in a rap talent show or that my greatest commercial success would come from TikTok. This film shows who I am today, how my views have changed over the years and why I reinvent myself with each album,” says Pezet.

The film “Paweł z Ursynów” was created by Gosia Herman – a Polish director and producer, founder of the FOREIGN XCHANGE creative studio based in Los Angeles, operating in the film, music and advertising industries. Starship is responsible for production. The film is another production of the new CANAL+ Content Lab department.
