Ozzy Osbourne treat “Schindler’s List” as a film that everyone should watch. However, he admits that when he watched it for the first time, he didn’t finish it. The Prince of Darkness was too moved by what he saw on the screen.
“When I saw it for the first time, I had to leave. I couldn’t stand it. I left the cinema. I think everyone should see ‘Schindler’s List’. It’s an amazing film. It makes a huge impression. I met people who lived in those times. They said that “the reality was much worse than in ‘Schindler’s List’,” says the 75-year-old singer.
Let us remind you that “Schindler’s List” is a film Steven Spielberg from 1993, which was based on the book Thomas Keneally “Schindler’s Ark”. The action takes place during the German occupation in the Krakow ghetto.
“Schindler’s List” tells the true story of Oskar Schindler – a German entrepreneur who sets up an enamelware factory in occupied Krakow. During the liquidation of the Krakow ghetto, Schindler is not indifferent to the tragedy of people and decides to save them by buying them as employees for his factory.
The film won dozens of awards, including: as many as 7 Oscars (also for best film and director). In 1995, the centenary of cinema, it was also included on the Vatican’s list of 45 feature films that promote special religious, moral or artistic values.
