“One Piece” presents the adventures of pirates as you have never seen them before. Straw Hat Crewled by Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), sets off on a dangerous journey to find the titular “one piece” – greatest treasure in the world. Not only will it bring them fame, but it will make Luffy the Pirate King.
They will go on a journey with Luffy Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu Maeda), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson), Sanji (Taz Skylar). The series was renewed for a second season just two weeks after its premiere. Not only that, it became one of Netflix’s most popular productions, beating the fourth series “Stranger Things” or the first season “Wednesday.”
Filming for the second season of the series is currently underway.
This week we learned that the cast has been joined by two more actors – Mark Harelik and Katey Sagal. They will play Dr. Kureha and Dr. Hiriluk, respectively. Katey Sagal has appeared in the series “Sons of Anarchy”, “The Bundy World”, and the film “Pitch Perfect 2”. Mark Harelik is known for his appearances in “Preacher”, “The Big Bang Theory”, and “The Morning Show”.
Today, the official social media profiles of “One Piece” announced that the character of Miss Wednesday will be played by Charithra Chandran, known from “Bridgerton.” In the second season of the Netflix megahit, she played the role of Edwina Sharma, Kate’s sister.
It was previously announced that the cast of the popular Netflix production also includes: Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Camrus Johnson as Mr 5, Clive Russell as Crocus, Daniel Lasker as Mr 9, David Dastmalchia as Mr 3, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton, Werner Coetser as Dorry, Sendhill Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra.
