“Chef Oliwia, tricked into the countryside to save her grandmother’s farm, falls in love with a handsome farmer who hides a secret” – this is the description of the new Netflix romantic comedy, which will debut at the end of March. The star cast will include, among others: Anna Szymańczyk and Mateusz Janicki.
Their on-screen partners will be Artur Barciś, Anna Seniuk, Filip Gurłacz, Cezary Żak, Magdalena Smalara, Paulina Holtz.
Anna Szymańczyk was born on June 20, 1987 in Olsztyn. She is a graduate of the Theater Academy in Warsaw. She started her acting career by performing on stage – viewers could admire her, among others: during performances at the 6th Floor Theater, the Stu Theater and the Dramatic Theater in Warsaw.
Until now, viewers could watch Szymańczyk on the small screen. In the years 2011-2015 she played the role of Daga in the series “First Love”. Then she appeared in such productions as: “Na Wspólnej”, “Don’t worry about me” and “Szadź”. Last year, she impressed as Zośka in the new version of “Quack”, which quickly became a Netflix hit. This role turned out to be a milestone in her career and resulted in her receiving many more offers recently.
Mateusz Janicki made his debut in the play “The Master and Margarita” on the stage of the National Stary Theater. Helena Modrzejewska in Krakow. For years, he was associated with other theaters in Krakow – Ludowy and Łaźnia Nowa, and (since 2011) Nowy Theater in Łódź.
He began his adventure with TV series with Polsat’s “First Love”, where he played the role of Paweł Krzyżanowski, Marysia’s partner. Over the years, he has accumulated many appreciated and popular television productions. He played in “Time of Honor”, the Masurian Saga “Nad Rozlewisku”, “Straight to the Heart”, “Roads of Freedom”, “The Century of the Guilty”, “Recipe”. We could see him on the big screen, among others: in “Sztos 2”, “Wałęsa. Man of Hope”, “Chemistry”, “Afterimage”, “Planet of Singles” or the recently debuted on Netflix “Mr. Car and the Templars”.
The film “Nothing by Force” will debut on March 27 on Netflix.
