Mystic Festival will take place on June 5-8 at the Gdańsk Shipyard. Today it is one of the largest metal events in Europe, the first edition of which took place in 1999. The biggest metal stars in Poland and the surrounding area have already performed under this banner, including: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Slayer, King Diamond, Slipknot, Nightwish and Celtic Frost.
They join this year’s edition Paradise Lost (with a special program decided by fans), Dark Funeral (legend of Swedish black metal), Blood Command (punk rock from Norway) i Mimi Barks (doom-trap from Germany). The organizers added that despite previous announcements, the American team canceled its participation Scowl.
Let us remind you that Paradise Lost are the pioneers of gothic metal. The British group has been on the scene since 1988 and has been performing since the very beginning Nick Holmes (vocal), Gregor Mackintosh (guitar), Aaron Aedy (guitar) i StephenEdmondson (bass). There was a lot of turnover in the drummer’s position – from 2022, an Italian played the drums Guido Montanarini.
The achievements close with the 16th album “Obsidian” from 2020.

The headliners of the event will be the British group Bring Me The Horizon, Machine Head from the USA (with a Polish guitarist Wacław “Vogg” Kiełtykaleader Decapitated) and one of the icons of thrash metal – Megadeth.
