A music video has just been released online “Doctor (Work It Out)”. Within six hours of its premiere, the clip had over 600,000 views.
As Rolling Stone explains, the song is not a new composition. The song was supposed to be on the album Miley Cyrus “Bangerz” from 2013 was ultimately not included on the album. Apparently some time ago the singer reached for this song again and decided to record it again. Interestingly, the piece “Doctor” was used during the January Louis Vuitton men’s collection show in Paris.
Let’s add that Miley and Pharrell Williams they previously worked on the aforementioned album “Bangerz” and the producer’s 2014 single “Come Get It Bae”.
“We just really believe in timing and everything happening when it’s supposed to happen. And around the Grammys, Pharrell and I were talking about releasing this song and I realized that now is the perfect time. And sometimes things from our past have a more sense in the present than ever before,” Miley Cyrus told Pitchfork.
He directed the clip Jacob Bixenmanwho had four videos for Miley Cyrus last year: “Flowers,” “River,” “Jaded” and “Used to Be Young.”
