Apart from Reynolds, Branagh and Dorociński “Mayday” also starred Clark Johnson (“Street Law”, “Block 99”) and Maria Bakalova (Oscar nomination for “Another Borat movie”).
Production was announced in June 2023. Filming began on March 4, 2024 and will last until May 8.
Dorociński revealed in March 2024 that he was working on a new foreign project. “Russell Crowe is playing a nice game Where am I, so I'll catch it and play it too. So: where am I? Hugs to you, my dears, on the eve of a great adventure. Yours.” – wrote Dorociński on his Facebook on February 28.
This is another foreign role for the Polish actor. In 2023, there was a lot of talk about his appearance in “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One”, in which he played the captain of a submarine. Dorociński also starred in “Unofficial Operation (Ransomed)”, a Korean action film whose world premiere took place on August 2, 2023. Previously, we could see him in three episodes “Vikings: Valhalla” and a miniseries awarded with two Golden Globes and 11 Emmys “The Queen's Gambit”.
