Filming for the 14th season of the series is underway in Wrocław “Pawnshop. Life on pledge”, which has been on TV Puls for seven years. The creators cannot be denied that they have a keen eye for the subject. The action takes place in a pawn shop in Wrocław, where the characters pawn not only valuable items, but also entrust the employees with their life stories.
The owner of the place, Kazimierz, played by Zbigniew Buczkowski, is an empathetic and cordial man. He always tries to understand other people and considers other people’s problems. “When I got the script for “The Pawnbroker” I thought – this is the project I want to star in. I liked the fact that it is so Polish, human and touches on social and moral issues. There is something happening all the time, there is no monotony, each episode is about something others. Kazimierz’s Pawnshop is a place where you help those in need,” said the actor, receiving the Golden Telekamera of “Tele Tygodnia”.
Guest participation in the production of well-known and popular personalities from the world of show business became a good idea. This time, Małgorzata Ostrowska-Królikowska visited the pawn shop, playing the role of Baśka.
On Sunday, the actress made her debut on the dance floor of “Dancing with the Stars”. In a duet with Kamil Gwara she danced the English waltz to the song “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan.
“Because the last few years have taken a toll on me, I want to have fun. I would like to find courage, self-confidence and safety on the dance floor,” she said with tears in her eyes. “I will enter this new stage in my life with a dance step,” added the actress.
The story begins with a washing machine leaking in Kalina’s (Aleksandra Szwed) apartment. Tanek (Tomasz Hajduk) undertakes the repairs, hoping that this way he will be able to gain the sympathy of Kalina, who he likes, but he does it so clumsily that he ends up flooding his downstairs neighbor. In these “dramatic” circumstances for every housewife, Kalina and Baśka meet. Shortly afterwards, Baśka comes to the pawn shop to buy a moonstone pendant that she saw on the website. A bond of sympathy and trust develops between the women. Kalina confides in Baśka about her problems, and she gets involved in the case of kidnapping her neighbor’s son.
