Leonardo DiCaprio advised Chalamet against such roles

If Timothée Chalamet could he take on the role of a superhero even if another, more experienced actor categorically advises him against it? It turns out that he admits such a thought.

During an interview with The New York Times, Chalamet was asked if he would like to play a superhero in a feature film. The young actor shared the advice he received from Leonardo DiCaprio.

“Well, Leonardo DiCaprio told me, ‘No superhero movies and no hard drugs,’ which I thought was very good advice. I follow both of them!” Chalamet replied, but he would be willing to change his mind for one role.

“The film that made me want to play a superhero was ‘The Dark Knight’. If the script was great, if the director was very good, I would have to consider it,” said the young actor.

Timothée Chalamet avoided pop culture roles for quite a long time, but in recent years he played not only Paul Atreides, but also the beloved Willy Wonka.

“Dune: Part Two” follows the impressive journey of Paul Atreides as he forges an alliance with Chani and the Fremen. At the same time, he goes on the warpath, burning with the desire for revenge on the conspirators who led to the downfall of his family. Faced with a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, Paul wants to prevent a tragic future that only he can predict.

The film will debut on February 29, 2024.
