Created by Taylor Sheridan”Yellowstone” is the flagship production of the Paramount+ platform. In Poland, the series can be watched on SkyShowtime and Netflix (first two seasons only). The production has been extremely popular with viewers from the very beginning and has become the beginning of the entire saga about the fate of the Dutton family, ranchers from Montana. This universe also includes the series “1883” and “1923”, which are prequels and present the history of the Dutton family before the events shown in “Yellowstone”.
Currently, work is underway on the final episodes of “Yellowstone”. Among other things, due to the sudden departure of Kevin Costner, it was decided to end the series with the fifth season. It was recently announced that three actors from the original production would return in the spin-off. According to Puck, we will see Cole Hauser (Rip), Kelly Reilly (Beth) and Luke Grimes (Kayce). The same website reports that the actors reportedly demanded remuneration of over a million dollars per episode.
What about the other cast members? Matthew McConaughey has been rumored to star in the series for months. Michelle Pfeiffer is also among the possible names mentioned.
As reported by The InSneider, It is speculated that Golden Globe-winning actor Kurt Russell would join the cast of one of the spin-offs of the series “Yellowstone”. At the moment, however, it is not clear whether it will be the above-mentioned continuation of the fate of the Dutton family, or another title that the creators are working on. Screen Rant reports that the 73-year-old actor would be cast in the main role.
