At the beginning of the week, “Fakt” reported on the significant financial problems of Telewizja Polska. They are supposed to affect, among others, people employed on the series “Klan”. Both the actors and the employees responsible for the production of the soap opera were not to receive remuneration for a long time.
“I didn’t receive anything, neither for January nor for February,” confessed an anonymous actress playing in “Klan”.
Due to this situation, Plejada contacted two production stars, Izabela Trojanowska and Tomasz Stockinger, associated with the soap opera from the first episodes.
The former did not want to comment on the whole matter. The series’ Paweł Lubicz turned out to be more talkative. The actor admitted that there are indeed problems with payments, but despite this he sees light at the end of the tunnel.
“The institution is going through difficult times as a whole. And, above all, we need to show understanding in such a situation where there are some delays. But what the television has there, it is already regulating and will regulate until the end,” he said in an interview with Plejada .
Stockinger also mentioned the blocking of funds made by the president and the National Broadcasting Council. “There is a regular war going on there,” he said.
“From what I know, there are some difficulties with the full settlement of that debt, but it seems to me that it will all be in line with what Minister Sienkiewicz said, that financing for TVP is assured until the end of the year. And I think that this is for this is what we should focus on. And there is no need to panic,” concluded the actor.
