Shawn Carter better known as Jay-Zon December 8, 2024, he was accused of an act of exploitation of a minor, which he allegedly committed in 2000. The anonymous lawsuit said the act occurred during a music awards party MTV Video Music Awardsand the rapper was accompanied alone Diddy. The victim was only 13 years old at the time of the incident.
Jay-Z has spoken out about the serious allegations
Portal NBC News he contacted the rapper’s lawyer and publicist. Jay-Z swears that the accusations against him are untrue and that Buzbee’s behavior is unprofessional: “These accusations are so shameful that I insist that a criminal complaint be filed in this case, not a civil one! Someone who would commit such a terrible things against a minor, he should be in prison, right? If that was the case, then the alleged victims deserve real justice.”
Over the past few months, Diddy has received several anonymous lawsuits alleging assault and abuse. The current lawsuit is the first to mention another celebrity.
According to NBC News, Jay-Z had the opportunity to mediate, but decided not to accept the offer and filed a countersuit. The rapper argues that there was no situation in which he was to take advantage of a minor: “You made a terrible mistake if you think that all “celebrities” are the same. I am not from your world. I am a man from Brooklyn, we don’t play games here such games. We have principles and honor, we defend children.
Currently, Diddy is incarcerated at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center and his trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025.
