Harrison Ford is over 80 years old, but he will never retire. Why?

Despite his advanced age HarrisonFord can’t complain about the lack of offers. And because he likes challenges, he is still involved in cinema and television projects.

It premiered last year the fifth part of the cult series “Indiana Jones”in which the star returned to his iconic role as a fearless archaeologist.

The actor was also involved in other projects – the fourth part “Captain America” ​​and the film “Thunderbolts”, both of which will premiere in 2025.

“I went from one set to another, which doesn’t usually happen to me. I don’t know how it happened, but it happened,” said the star. “The Fugitive” in an interview with The New York Times.

However, this pace suits him very well. In the above-mentioned conversation, Ford admitted that, despite being in his eighties, he did not even intend to think about retirement. The actor emphasized that he loves his job and therefore intends to do it as long as possible. “I love it. I love challenges and the entire process of creating a film. It makes me feel at home. I have devoted my whole life to this. I don’t want to reinvent myself. I just want to work,” explained the actor.

Over the years, Ford has created a number of memorable performances for which he has won acclaim from critics and international audiences. He has won two Saturn statuettes, an MTV Award, as well as an Oscar nomination and four Golden Globe nominations. He was most famous for his roles as Indiana Jones and Han Solo in Star Wars. The American Film Institute included both of these characters on their list of “The 100 Greatest Heroes and Villains of All Time”.
